Eudora Welty House and Garden<\/a>
\nFor 76 years, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Eudora Welty lived and wrote in her Jackson home at 1119 Pinehurst Steet. Her parents finished construction of the house in 1925, when Eudora was 16 years old and had recently graduated from high school. Restored by the Missisippi Department of Archives and History after her death in 2001, the Eudora Welty House and Garden is open for tours by reservation Tuesdays through Fridays at 9 and 11 a.m., and 1 and 3 p.m., and the second Saturday of each month at 9 and 11 a.m. To make a reservation for individual or group tours, email tours@eudoraweltyhouse.com.<\/p>\n

Eudora Welty Foundation<\/a>
\nThe Eudora Welty Foundation was established in 1999 to assist the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) in achieving its goals of celebrating the legacy of Eudora Welty, enhancing appreciation of her work, and encouraging reading and the efforts of young writers. The Foundation\u2019s broad mission is to fund educational and research activities and to develop programs that will enhance Eudora Welty\u2019s legacy and ensure that her work continues to be recognized as among the greatest in American literature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Mississippi Department of Archives and History<\/a>
\nThe Archives Records and Services Division of MDAH houses the Eudora Welty Collection. Operating hours and a reference request link may be found under Research at the site. MDAH also has information about Eudora Welty's home state. Here you will be able to find information on Mississippi state archives, libraries, the museums and historic sites, preservation programs, and more. Suzanne Marrs has written a Guide to the Welty Collection at the Archives that is widely available. Eudora Welty Writers Symposium [Mississippi University for Women]<\/a>
\nThe Eudora Welty Writers' Symposium writes about their site, \"each October the Humanities Division sponsors the Eudora Welty Writers' Symposium to honor one of MUW's most famous alums. A diverse group of Southern writers and scholars are invited to present their work. One highlight of the symposium is the announcement of the Eudora Welty Prize for an unpublished book of scholarship on women's studies, Southern studies, or modern letters.\" There are links of past programs along with a history and photos page.<\/p>\n

Eudora Welty Review<\/a>
\nIn 2009, the Eudora Welty Newsletter metamorphosed into the Eudora Welty Review, an annual journal, published each April. The Eudora Welty Review publishes scholarly essays, book reviews, and regular features for news and notes, textual analyses, checklists, and new archival materials.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
